Hi,

a good start is to pop into the Almanzora Group of Friends in Albox, they were set up to help people new to the area with advice they have an English library and run trips. http://www.almanzoragof.org/ they can point you in the right direction.

Need advice on your garden - http://almanzoravalleygardeningclub.org/index.php

Eating out? http://almanzoralunching.blogspot.com.es/

There are at least 3 walking groups, 8 or nine weekly quizzes, computer club etc etc the list is endless.

And not forgetting your local councillor, Jim Simpson, who works tirelessly on behalf of the expat community.

The current council are very pro active and getting a lot done, especially for the ex pats.

Hi there,

Can you tell me whereabouts in Albox this group is? I bought a place last July and have enjoyed discovering things myself but but chatting and having some specific advice (like getting floor/wall tiles) would be nice....

Thanks,

Ricardo
