Inaugurations of new book about the industrialisation of this area
MINES, CABLES, RAILWAYS, FOUNDRIES AND MINERAL LOADING. BEDAR, LOS GALLARDOS, GARRUCHA, MOJACAR, TURRE AND VERA (1840 - 1970)
The books are now printed, the town halls are supporting our project and so we have five inauguration events organized.
The inauguration schedule for the books is:
Bedar - (Town Hall Square) Monday 9 August at 9 pm.Los Gallardos - (new theatre near to the roundabout on the main road) Wednesday 11 August at 9 pm (easier for parking and for people with mobility problems).
Garrucha - Friday 13 August at 9 pm (location to be finalised)
Vera - Sunday 15 August at 9 pm (Sea front near old chimney 500 m north of the port at Garrucha).
Turre - Monday 16 August at 9 pm (location to be finalised).
All will be outside events and measures taken to counter Covid. I think there will be some refreshments provided by the town halls.
