My father in law is about to be discharged from hospital in Turre'. He is bedridden and needs 24/7 nursing care.
Are there any suggestions?.
He basically has no funds, what options are there for government assistance in Spain ?. He is from UK but a resident in Spain for 20 years.
Any help appreciated.

I would contact by telephone the town hall where he resides. There will be a social worker that could help, albeit the paperwork could take time. You will probably need to employ a carer privately until a more permanent solution is found. I take it he is a legal resident here. If you are using a translator at the hospital they may be able to steer you in the right direction.
