passports in car

hi, have a spanish car . my passport is now Photostated both sides and laminated so to fit in my wallet is this ok with spanish police?

On the 2'occasions we were stopped ny Police we were asked to produce our UK Driving Licence and NIE. We actually have a photocopied & laminated Passport as well, but it wasn't requested.

Hi, and happy new year to everyone.
From reading posts it would seem that the minimised version is acceptable if/as/when it's been requested by Guardia and/or policia local.
Nie's and vehicle documents carried on your person will always be requested as your NIE along with driving licence be it UK or Spanish are your proof your genuine.
