Long term car hire

Strange as it may seem, I saw today that Banco Sabadell were now offering long term car rental (for situations such as yours) at what they say are extremely competitive rates.  It includes fully comprehensive insurance which covers accident, breakdown AND maintenance all at a fixed monthly cost.

Might be worth checking out?

Hi buddy,i seen this too as Sabadell is my bank and am looking for something along those lines.

Not much info on the website so was wondering if it is even worth going to the bank as being British with no form of credit history in Spain. Do you know if it is even possible to do something like this without me heading off on a wasted trip to the bank?

Well .... Sabadell staff at least speak English, so that’s one hurdle overcome.  If you already bank with Sabadell I’d be inclined to think they’d look favorably upon you.  They advertise as one fixed payment a month, so if you have money in the account or money coming in each month, that may likely satisfy them.... it’s a fairly new venture for them and the website is more an interface for personal banking than advertising - go have a chat to them

Sabadell is a major bank and has branches in most towns throughout Spain.
