Is it to late to exchange a uk license for a Spainish one
yes you should have registered before Jan 1st. You can use it until July but then have to take a Spanish driving test and pass itto get a Spanish licence. That will involve lessons with a Spanish driving instructor, written test in Spanish on theory. Good luck.

I heard there are negotiations going on just now about the Brits not having to sit a test as it’s a European standard test and should be recognised . If you can sit tight it MAY be worth waiting. Unless you are confident in Spanish.
You can take the test in English. There are numerous examples to try on YouTube.
