do they just plug in and are they run remotely? Do they give off a lot of heat as well? We use the air con for heat but it is all up in the ceiling area as it is ducted so looking for an economic alternative.

I have given them to lions charity. they have a shop in turre or their website and i they also have facebook but as i dont use it dont know whats on there, i asked zoe, president of the lions, and she said if anyone is interested use the website and facebook and contact Andy.
yes they do just plug in and they do kick out a lot of heat, they have a thermostat dial on them.
