My name's David. I'm 65 and looking to restart playing Rubber and Pairs Contract Bridge. I haven't played for over 20 years but when  I did I was at Club Master level. I want something to do that will stimulate my memory as I believe this is good exercise to reduce the likelihood of getting dementia. I also go to the gym 3 times a week to keep my body fit. Please let me know if you are interested and we can meet for coffee and a chat.

Hi David, there's nothing right on your doorstep, but if you're willing to travel a bit there is bridge to be found! The biggest club in the area (in the winter at least) is in Mojacar, they play Monday and Thursday evenings in the Marina Playa Hotel. Currently they're running about 6 tables.

There's an invitation-only duplicate on Monday afternoons at the CornerBar in La Alfoquia, and I run an open informal session there most Tuesdays. The next one will likely be on the 20th...but I do warn you there are a few beginners in the mix, I started teaching some from scratch earlier in the autumn.

PM me for further details...
