There are a few bars which do tapas but no restaurants as such. You'd have to drive out for a "proper" meal.  We do have a Chinese, which is more of a bar that does Chinese food and it's very reasonable but basic.  Hope this is helpful.

There are about 23 bars actually in Cantoria but you have to to visit all the side and back streets to find them, the four that were mentioned are probably the ones opposite the town hall, you can however get a decent meal in Miguels, he had a menu in English, but for a "posher " resturant you would have to go into  Albox.

I have never been disappointed with the food in Miguels

Hope this is helpful, & Welcome to Cantoria

23? We've been here 5 years and there have never been that many.  At the last count there were I think no more than 12 before lockdown. The most that were open since we've lived here was 14 but quite a few had closed down over the years. Hopefully those that were still open won't have to close after the restrictions are lifted.  In any event, there's still a good choice of places to get a drink.

When I moved into Cantoria twenty years ago there were 23 bars then, but of course I haven't been around all the streets on a regular basis, so you are probably right in saying the numbers have decreased., so thank you for the update. The bars in the square still a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

Absolutely agree, Cantoria square is a lovely place to people watch and relax and hopefully it won't be long before we can do it again.  Take good care.
