Hello all. As someone new to the area I have been told different things regarding charcoal BBQs. Is it legal to have them in your own property all year round or not? Been told not possible from May to November? What is the situation please.

You'd be better to check with your local town hall, I have never heard of such a restriction and certainly householders around me have charcoal BBQs going all year round, might be different regulations if you are in an apartment block...

There is always wind in coastal areas. The terrain is dry always. Misuse of even a used match can be lethal. I have not used our barbecue in years and I don’t intend to. Life is too precious and common sense is not so common in barbecue people. Sorry!
