Hi.

We have a holiday apartment in Vera which we have enjoyed as a family for quite a few years now. With the kids getting older and wanting to do there own thing I would really like to move to a small house with a garden and more space for my dogs.

I have found a lovely little property in a Cantoria, I just wanted to know if anyone could give me any info on the area please and what it’s like to live there ie

Thank you  much appreciated

We live just across the valley to the north, but have friends who live there. You will not be disappointed moving to Cantoria. More of a smaller country town compared to Vera. Good local facilities, clubs, activities. Local bars and restaurants. Health centre. Dentist. Fiestas always exciting. Not far to travel by road to 2 large supermarkets ( incl Mercadona) in Olula del Rio. But town also has small shops, farmacy, banks, Correos, hairdressers etc. Weekly market is popular. All you need really. Beautiful church. Great walks in the area for dogs too. Town hall organise various events for all ages. Clean and tidy place, locals take a pride in their town.
