My husband and myself are taking early retirement and moving to Arboleous later this year.
We are under British retirement age and won't be working.
We both have ongoing medical conditions that require daily prescription medication
Can anyone offer advice about taking our Private Medical Insurance that can help with the cost and cover any other conditions that may arise in the future?

Hi,
Will pass to Karen at Collyfer but as you know existing medical conditions are not usually covered on new policies. On the plus side so many medications available only on prescription in UK, here are OTC. Although we are registered with a Spanish GP we still.prefer to buy our meds OTC as less hassle.
If you go back and back and back you will find really helpful posts by DarioMartin who has recently processed his Residencia/ HEALTHCARE & the bit about being able.to pay Social Security payments after a year-I think.
