That's a good question. I believe Ryanair stops coming to the region (Almeria airport certainly) in the winter months.

Easyjet seems to trim some flights but remains my favourite. Winter & summer they have 2 flights a week , from  Southend to Murcia,  which suits us. I think Gatwick has flights on many winter days  but more in the summer. Good luck with looking. We work ours out on getting the shuttle bus.

Martin.

The only flights into Almeria from the UK during the winter months are the easyJet from Gatwick. Ryanair come into Murcia Corvera from various UK airports until beginning of Jan I think. Best choice at this time of the year is Alicante but of course it's a pain getting from Alicante to Almeria. The shuttle bus to Vera, Mojacar, Turre etc. leaves Alicante at 12 noon ish so is not suitable for flights arriving after 11.00 am

Easy Jet fly form Bristol to Murcia Corvera (RMU) at least 3 times a week in winter and also have flights form Gatwick (LGW) and Southend (SEN). The Bristol flights switch to daily from Easter until September. EasyJet have also bought the ex Thomas Cook slots at Bristol and there was a weekly Bristol to Almeria flight with TC on summer saturdays so this may reappear.

Exclusive guarantee meeting all Corvera flights for onward travel to Mojacar area.

Hi

Thank you for your reply I didn’t even realise that there was a shuttle bus. Do we have to book that and pay for it?

Check their website for details https://exclusiveairportshuttles.co.uk/

You need to book and there is a charge, we have used a number of times and they are very reliable. Out of season the service is usually by minibus.

For the Almanzora valley area the service calls at Hotel Overa where A334 meets A7
