Hi

We're looking to drive over to Arborleas from Calais with 2 small dogs & looking for recommendations of where to stay overnight with them. Ideally we think we'll need 2 nights during the journey to break up the journey for our boys.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

We did the same. We stayed in Ibis pet friendly hotels. The dogs stay in your room. We found them very good.

Search for ibis pet friendly on Google then plan your route. We did one night outside Calais because we had travelled down from the Midlands, and then two stops about 500 miles apart.

Worked out really well for us...

Check out Hotel Luze El Toro on Booking.com! https://www.booking.com/Share-blxOL5
We stayed in this hotel- very dog friendly. Also all Ibis hotels are dog friendly- we stayed in the middle of Tours but next time will probably stay in one on the outskirts.

Safe travels 🙂🐶

We stay in Reims and Girona/Barcelona outskirts when we want a relaxed drive with the dog. Plenty of dog friendly hotels in both ( usually just off motorway) and not too pricey

Hi, We drive down from Calais twice a year with our small dog. We never book accommodation before setting off but we use Booking.com and Airbnb apps on our smart phones. We are only looking for overnight stops so use the filters to find pet friendly etc hotels and guest houses and we have never been disappointed. We try to make the journey down and back up a mini tour and stay off the tolls and take 4 or 5 days. Good luck.
