Golden retrievers

Hi all , 

I know I will probably get a lot of criticism from people who don't  understand  , but let me explain anyway , we would like to know if there is anywhere we can get a golden retriever rescue dog , before people accuse us of wanting a designer dog , it's not like that at all , we have had 3 retriever dogs in our life as we love the breed . We moved to spain in April 2019 and were going to bring our beautiful lady Chiloe with us , we had her passport and transport arranged ,  1 month before we moved , we woke up to find her very distressed  took her to the vets , who sent us straight to the royal veterinary college  where she was diagnosed with a tumour on her spine that was travelling up into her brain , we were advised that there was no hope and that we had to have her put down at 7 years old .

I hope that people will understand why we would like a retriever,  we are prepared to buy one , but thought we would try a rescue pup first  , if anyone can help , we would really  appreciate  it
