I have looked in several supermarkets here for Bucatini pasta and for pine nuts. Anyone have any tips? TIA

Keep a lookout for when Lid has Italian themed specials. Other than that, if you make it down to Almeria Carrefour does a pretty wide variety of pasta...

Not sure of the exact roadways but it's the big hipermercado, not the little Carrefour Express places

Mercadona sells pine nuts, they are in a little jar in with the spices

Many thanks, found them! But at €3.20 for just 50g they are twice as expensive as in Tesco in the UK, for some reason.

I have lived in Spain for 11 years, but I seem to remember pine nuts always being quite expensive.Never shopped in Tesco though.I never think of comparing UK prices now. If I need and want anything I just buy it
