Hi all. Hope you're all well and safe.

I am having some problems with my asthma today, and feel that I am starting with a chest infection (which I often get).

I know this isn't the dreaded virus, I also know that if I ignore this, it will get worse and I will be at risk of needing help which I would obviously like to avoid.

One of my Spanish colleagues told me that it is possible to book a telephone appointment through the app, but I have not been able to do this. I am not sure if I'm doing this wrong.

The phone lines at my health centre are ringing out but not being answered so I understand that they are either busy or working from home.

Is there another way of getting a telephone appointment with my Dr? I've lived here since August and not needed medical help other than ordering repeat scripts so this is all new to me!

I don't live in your area, but it's Almeria, so the same rules may apply. We can't book an appointment using the app at the moment, our local medical centre is actually closed. We have to go to Pulpi which is the main centre, no need for an appointment.

Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

Thank you.

That makes a lot of sense.
