Are there any branches of U3A in the region?

There are many in Alicante and Malaga region, but what about here?

I thought U3A was an online 'school'.  There is always the OU,  I did a Forensics/criminal  Psychology course thru them 2 years ago from Spain, worked well.

Isn't it something to do with  the 3rd age? ie a politically correct term for older people or us wrinkles 😲😲😲.  Now hiding under the sofa waiting to be banned!

I belong to the U3A in my local town in the UK

My local U3A has various activity groups which cover a wide range of different topics such languages, history, art etc. Most of the activity groups meet in hired halls or in members' houses. During the Covid pandemic many groups had virtual meetings on the internet, but that was the result of lockdown restrictions.
