Good afternoon

Could you help please?  I will be staying at the Protur Roquetas de Mar Hotel and Spa.  Does anyone know how far away Mercadona is, and is there a bus to it?  Thank you.

If you turn location on in your phone and type/speak your query Google will answer. i.e. "directions from (put in name of hotel) to nearest Mercadona walking". If it's quite a walk and when you get the address of Mercadona just ask where to get bus from your location. Hope this makes sense!😁

Hi saltydog,it's probably a good 15 minute walk from where you're staying which is good without shopping but quite a way with....there's always plenty of buses going up and down so it shouldn't be a problem....there's a pretty good spar shop down your end which is ideal for bits of shopping you've forgotten....if you walk along the seafront to Ave mediterraneo that's where the large island is on the sea front ,then follow the road to the top and turn right you'll see it. ...

Hi there is a bus stop just up the road from the hotel . The buses run usually every half hour. Just book to the mercadona. It costs around €1.35 each but only 85 c if you have a bus card which are available from the bus station in Roquetas free of charge. Just add 10 or 20 euros and travel half price all around Almeria.

About a 20 minute walk. Taxis are readily available. Google maps a God send.
