Basically we fly to Almeria airport on Saturday 1st December and have worked out that there is a regular bus service which takes us to Almeria Estacion Intermodal de Almeria. However finding details of the bus times from there to Roquetes de mar is not quite so simple. Any ideas of the bus number, timings early afternoon, cost and where to get off - ee are staying at Calle Joaquin Blume in Roquetes de mar which I think is over the river on the left at the first roundabout before the Port? Any advice would be great, the simpler the better please. Many thanks in anticipation. Tiny.

Have a look at http://siu.ctal.es/en/horarios_lineas_tabla.php?from=1&linea=21 which will hopefully help with the route and times.

Thanks Rob. Still not sure as can't open the bus route map, prices aren't shown and it looks like there are only 5 buses a day? I thought that there would be a lot more?? Many thanks. Tiny.

Tiny, the bus from Almeria bus station to Roquetas runs approx every 30 minutes throughout the day and evening leaving from bay 11 or nearby. The cost is less than 2 euros pp. I’m not sure of the number but the destination will show clearly on the front of the bus. The service is very reliable. We use it regularly.

Regards

Hi J J. That's great thanks - I think we have all the information we need now. We regularly use the bus or train for airport transfers and like to plan well in advance. Thank you to all who have responded - we look forward to our visit later in the year - just need to know who to contact to ensure dry warm sunny weather for the first week in December!! Kind regards and best wishes to all in Roquetes de Mar. Tiny.

Your bus from the airport will drop you outside Estacion Intermodal de Almeria, beside the front entrance. Proceed into the Estacion where you will see the screen showing the times and number of the bus to Roquetas de Mar, number 330. Buses run fairly frequently. Speak to the driver regarding your bus stop, I find that the drivers have a good understanding of English.
