Price depends on size, quality, where on your property etc etc, you might also need a work licence from the council. Check euroweekly, several installers advertise there.

Hi,  try Ecocorps Solar.  There are a very professional ream, they will visit your property and advise on the number of panels required, will  upgrade your electricity supply to the house if needed and will do all the donkey work for you, licences, permits, etc etc.  Herein their details.

Vic Underwood

Ecocorp Solar

Calle Vente Vacio

Parcela C1,

Bloque III,

Nave 9

Parque Industrial “El Real”

Antas  04628

Almeria

Tel 950 096 166

When and if you ask them for a quote let them know that it was I who recommended them.  We had 14 panels installed on a south facing roof providing 6.5 kilowatts for a cost of euro 7000, money well spent given the cost of electricity.

Best of luck

Gosh Andy.

Thank you so very much for this, and we will certainly say your name when we are going ahead. I too, believe its a better future addition giving the dreadful cost of electricity. This was much appreciated. Does the property have to be South facing? I know its a requirement here in Ireland  but that's because we never get sun.

Hi there,

I would ask the question as to whether the €7000 was just for panels, or for everything including batteries and inverters,

As this seems very cheap for everything.

Hi, not necessarily but south facing panels will give you the best return as east / west facing panels are only some 70% efficient at best.  They can be fitted at ground level do a roof is not essential.
