Hi. Villaricos Sunday morning market, San Juan de los Terreros Sunday market and beaches, Lorca old town and castle, circular drive from Mojacar to Carboneras ( nice beach and restaurants) then back inland to Sorbas, the villages of Bedar, Lubrin and Zurgena, Albox Tuesday market, Tabernas desert. Cantoria itself is a nice village. You'll find lovely tapas bars in all the towns and there will be fiestas too so keep your eyes open for posters advertising them.  Lots to see but all a fair drive from Cantoria. Oh, and of course, Mojacar itself but be ready for the crowds in August! Enjoy!

San Juan del Los Terreros  has some of the best beaches around.  There are now the evening markets  water activities and lots of things going on.  Lots of bars and restaurants.  Also many small  bays with stunning views.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of places to go and visit. We are very much looking forward to seeing as much Cantoria and surrounding areas have to offer! Sounds like there’s plenty to explore. Thank you 😀

Hello. Nice to talk   OK. Gurrucha beach is only 40mins drive and on the Med. Where in England can you do that ( and I see about 10 cars on the way) plus NO traffic jams.  What’s that…,When the new part of the A334 bypass road is complete and straight onto the A7 the beach will be only 30mins drive.

Many thanks
