Hi,

Can anyone help (or recommend someone) with importing and registering a car in Spain?

I have a 2000 LHD BMW 5-series that was originally From Germany but currently on British plates and wish to bring it to Spain.

Friends have told me to allow around 1000 euros as a ballpark figure to 'metriculate' my vehicle but I have since received quotes of over 1500 euros from two firms that offer such services.....

Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi Ricardo. 

I used Juan Torres in Mojácar Pueblo. It cost me about €1,200. But they quoted much more than that! I'm not sure why.
