Irish passport
Hi if a person had an Irish passport would the same entry/ visa requirements still apply if you retired to Spain? Would this allow a spouse easier entry also?
thanks

As an Irish passport holder, you are exempt the onerous conditions faced by UK passport holders as you are an EU Citizen and enjoy Freedom of movement. You can retire to Spain and simply apply for Residencia.
A partner would qualify as a dependent of an EU Citizen and could apply for Residencia as a dependent.
