Word of mouth recommendations please

My hubby & I (Steve & Jo)are moving to Arboleas within the next 3 weeks, the house we're buying is wonderful but needs major & extensive works doing to it and we're looking for recommendations for any electricians, plumbers, damp proof coursing experts and roofers please that anyone has used and has had a great experience with. We're aware that Spain virtually shuts down in August for holidays but we will definitely need an electrician and plumber for the first week in August if possible, so if you know of one, please let us know. We can't wait to move to our new home and start to make new friends with our neighbours and within the area. We hope to see you around, you'll recognise us in and around Arboleas and Albox the hubby kind of looks like Brian May (strangers always tell him!) and I'm his younger drop dead gorgeous wife! 😉 Well okay, but I am definitely younger, we both have strong Sheffield accents, we enjoy a beer or two and are learning Spanish slowly.
