Hi all,we are visiting Mojacar and surrounding area 12th to 19th October 2018 and planning on driving round to sus out the local area.What are the must see places to visit? We are looking at retiring out to Almeria around October 2019 and hope to buy a villa around Arboleas or Albox. Wondered what the towns are like as regards to activities and expat groups? Are there also spanish lessons near by?

Hi, there are Spanish classes in Arboleas that are either free or 30 euros for the year, you register at the town hall. You would very soon make lots of friends as most of the bars, cafes, etc have lots of Brits frequenting them. There is also the bowling alley at the top of Arboleas and there is a flat green bowling club in Alfoquia.
