Hi,

Just to mention but AA Auctions at the Longo Centre on outskirts of Albox seem to have quite a selection of used tools laid out. We have purchased a number over the years. Not sure how price & quality compare with Chino/todo shops as AA seems a tad expensive and I'm only a DIYer at best. Usually go in looking for antique wall hangings.

May be worth a look.

Best Wishes,

Bob and Sandra

Lots of junk tools about tho I did get a nice but old brick chisel from AA, you dont need to spend a fortune on DIY tools, you can buy most of what you describe from the likes of Leroy Merlin and Brico depot if you want tools that will last you.

Asia shops tend to sell tape measures in just metric but some do sell dual imperial and metric.

At the other end of the scale, next time your in Ikea get yourself one of their tool kits, boxes of screws and rawlplugs, lots of walls here are concrete and you can forget just knocking a nail in to hang a picture lol.

Theres what looks like a Brico Depot just off the main drag in Mojacar. Cordless tools, in fact lots of power tools are very expensive, especially cordless but you can sometimes pick up bargains and speciall offers, you wont find tools on any of the open markets unless you want to use a frying pan or saucepan as a hammer lol.
