Driving licence/ test

Hi ya.    If you hang in there the Exchange on UK to Spanish licenses has been passed by the Spanish Government just waiting for the final bits in the courts.  You will need to be in Spain to take your medical exam €40 euros and all the other paperwork.  Just keep an eye on BRITS IN SPAIN ON FACEBOOK.     TERRY

When we swapped our licences we had to do a test like a video game with two controllers and a screen. It only took a few minutes and really wasn't too onerous. Don't worry

It was before Brexit

if your husband has a motorcycle on his driving licence then when they are allowing exchanges again it will be transferred to a Spanish one.  If it is a new motorcycle licence required then obvious a test will be needed.   You have to make sure that the information on the UK licence is transferred correctly as strangely now I can drive a scooter but never have and my husband can only drive a car and that's all because the info on our licences is wrong.

Hello.   You will not have to take a test. Just get your medical Certificate and all paperwork and go to CATS SERVICES  DONE.   Just wait till the OK is given on Brits in Spain on Face
