Hi All,  we have an underground concrete rendered water tank, and we were wondering if it's  safe to drink the water out of it, otherwise  we are going to have to purchase a separate  tank. If so does anyone know where we can get one from and any price ranges.

Many thanks and Feliz Navidad.

We had a similar tank, we installed a filtration system in the kitchen and also used to put swimming pool tablets in every now and then, and we live to tell the tale. If its mains fed then it should be fine, if its agricultural water delivered via a land trough I would filter it.

Hi, thanks for that. The water is delivered by tanker and is drinkable,  before it goes in, but not sure what happens to it once it has been in there a while, where did you get your filtration system from as it may be a good solution for us.

Many thanks again

Hi Marian,

Cant remember exactly, It was when we lived in Valencia and it was from one of the super stores up there, I would try Angel Oller or Longo's both in Albox.  Jenni

I recently moved to Almanzora (next to Albox), and even when a plumber says that the water (from the mains) is of good quality, I had Fontalmanzora (next to Lidl in Albox) install an osmosis system. I just drink that water (and use for food and coffee etc).
It just fits under the sink.
