Hi,

We live 16 km outside HO in fact exactly mid way between HO & Puerto Lumbreras.

It is a pleasant little town with everything you could need.

Solicitors, estate agents, supermarkets  hardware shops, builder's merchants, theatre, car dealerships, Sports Centre. 2 swimming pools, restaurants, etc, etc. 30min from Coast.

Quite an ex-pat population.

Does that help?

Saludos,

Bob and Sandra

Not forgetting the amazing hospital. I have lived here for 15 months not far from Limaria and had the misfortune to have to go to hospital well, I tell you they were wonderful no lying around on trolleys left for hours before being dealt with. Also a fantastic market which is held on Mondays the best market around. So in answer to your question yes great place to live all year round. Jan

We have bought a house 5 mins from Huercal Overa.  We will move permanently as soon as youngest child has finished GCSE. We can't wait! We love the town and the area around it. Such lovely scenery,  people and facilities.

Congratulations I hope you will be as happy as my Husband and I are. Once you get to know them(it takes a while) the Spanish people are lovely. Good luck in your new venture, it is very scary; so much to learn but you get there in the end, please do hesitate to contact me if there is anything  you need to know my Husband and I will try to answer. Kind regards Jan ☺
