Hi, can anyone tell me, has the fire license been extended 'til the end of May?

No, as far as I know. The heat will be starting at the weekend and all the countryside will be turning colour and drying out so would not be at all likely in any year in this part of Spain.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I ask is I have been told it's on the Huercal Overa town hall website, but it's obviously in Spanish and I can't understand yet.

I've just had a look and it seems to say that you can! Maybe you've had more rain at your end but I'll check on my town hall page too as I've got a pile to burn.
10 minutes later:-. Have checked my town hall(Sorbas) and the ban has not been lifted so far - so lucky you!
