I approach my 66th birthday 10 months from now and have been contributing towards my healthcare in the Spanish healthcare system for the last 3 years.

I am interested if anyone can advice me as to the procedure to stop paying this contribution as i will have reached pension age and also when to apply for the S1 form.

I am trying to coincide the cessation of the Spanish fee when i first receive my pension in Feb 2021.

I’m afraid I cannot comment on most of your post, however, I can tell you that the S1 form can only be applied for 4weeks before you move from the Uk. Obviously, I don’t know what happens when you already live abroad, but I spoke to DWP a couple of weeks ago and they were very nice and helpfu...
