Is there a wi fi booster that uses house electrics. I have a tenda unit in uk that works via ringmain, know spanish electrics are wired differently, just wondered if anyone uses something similar

I bought a WiFi booster which I just plugged into the socket in my lounge if that's what you mean.

Hi

We tried one of those but won't push through thick walls

Need circuit style, 2 units, one plugs into router and plug, 2nd plugs into plug at far end of property and transmits signal

Just my opinion but mains-loop extenders should work. The theory is universal and not just applicable to nation states. But the Spanish network is less stable than the UK and so will be susceptible to more interference and drop out. Would be interesting to hear what your experience is if you've tried one anyway.

Works well in UK, but ring main continuity is 100%, not sure about wiring circuits in spain, each socket may be wired as an extention rather than ring.

Hi James I have a Tp-Link extender that works through the mains. Have used it both in Tenerife and Zurgena area and it works a treat. You can use multiple extenders if you need to cover a large area. Bought from Worten. Let me know if you need details :-)
