Hello everyone!

First post for me as i only joined today but im after some advice please, we are just back from house hunting over there and after being shown several properties by Voss Homes we have decided on one in the Taberno area which we intend to make an offer on tomorrow.

Question is we have 4 English Bulldogs we want to bring with us, im aware heat etc may be an issue for them at the middle of the year but we can cater for that but is it possible to bring them over? I have read several things on the internet this morning about stub nosed dogs not being allowed etc dependent on area and town halls but has anyone on here brought 2 or more bulldogs over?

Thanks

Dave

We have 4 bulldogs and drive over a couple of times a year for the last 10 years and there has been no real issues at all. The vets in HO are brilliant as well.

Done a pm with more info, overall we love it and our dogs definitely do although they are  sleeping most of the time they live the warmth.

We moved over with our 2 bulldogs in 2013; like you, we were concerned about the heat and sandflies in particular. The main thing is to keep your dogs in the cool, especially during the summer months, and not to over excercise (not that bullies exercise much at all😄).

Your dogs will adjust as you will too, and the vets are very good. Our vet is a bulldog owner which does help.

Lovely Bullies!

Good luck
