Property wanted to rent: Swiss guy looking for an place to rent in ALMERIA or ROQUETAS DE MAR starting 21 JUNE

I am a Swiss guy (52) planning an early retirement in the ALMERIA area. I am not familiar with this area so I would like in a first step rent a place for approx. 3 - 4 months. Thereafter I plan to buy one or two properties.
I am fully aware that July and August is the high season and many places are rented out. My questions to the community:
- Is someone aware of an accommodation available for 3 months, starting 21. JUNE (Size: 1 or 2 bedrooms, budget up to 1000 EUR/month)
- Any tips where to find such places (www.idealista.com etc.)
- Is it a good idea to contact an agency for assistance. If yes, any recommendations
