Hello,
I am holidaying in Almeria in October with a view to looking at country house for sale with a pool. Looking to be around a mile from a town. Planning to retire next year. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Be very careful. There are lots and lots of flies and wasps inland due to farming. (Pigs, goats etc). My advice would be to find an area that you like and rent for a year. If you buy and don’t like the area, you’re stuck with a house you may not be able to sell.
