Well we finally got our NLV's and moved to Mojacar last week.

All we have to do now is make an appointment via the extranjeria website within 30 days of arriving to get our TIE Cards. Ahhhh we are told their website was hacked last year and is still not up and running properly or they are shutting it down most of the time as they do not have any appointments available.

We are being helped by a solicitor but even with their improved access they have only been able to book 2 appointments this year and both those were for people who arrived last year!

It seems the chances of getting an appointment within 30 days are zero and the way its going we may not have TIE Cards by the time our visas expire in 90 days and quite possibly not have them when we have to renew the visas in a years time.

It seems the congress have deemed this as a "collapse of the system" - but I cannot find out what they are doing to remidy the situation........

Just wondered if anyone else is working out how to get an appointment?

I am trying to see my solicitor so if I find out any more I will post it.

Quite unbelievably the doors to our water meter cupboard were stolen overnight on Sunday!  Apparently Galasa are only responsible for the meters, the cupboard and doors are the responsibility of the owners. Obvously need to get new doors quite urgently. Anyone out there who can help or who can recommend someone.

My wife and I normally go to Corralejo in Fuertaventura and would like to go somewhere different for a change. We like to live in apartments near to some nightlife and access to a clothing optional beach. (No further than 20 mins on a bus). We wouldn’t want to live in a naturist village as we tend to only go nude on the beach.

Any suggestions would be appreciated TIA

Just read on British news that traveling to Spain? You need on top of paying for your holiday etc you need 97 euros each day your there per person of your stay. 

This is going to really mess people up not good news apparently at the borders etc if not sufficient funds they are going to refuse entry into Mainland Spain and Balaric islands?
