Am new to this forum and want to thank you for letting me join it. Have been reading up a lot about moving to around San Juan de Los Terreros area. I was trying to work out whether it would be better to rent or buy.
I hope to sell my house in the Spring. What are the monthly outgoings with both buying and renting- utilities,council tax, private health care etc . I wanted to make sure I would have enough money to allow me to stay there permanently and understand I would need to show savings of 26k per annum. Any advice would be very much a

Hello. My husband and I got a property in Spain. We are British. We would like to be able to live in Spain (after Brexit) without selling the house in the UK. To be able to flight freely to Spain from UK I would like to obtain the TIE card. That I understand is like obtaining the residency. 

My concern is: Does anyone know if in this situation, (I mean being resident in Spain and still having the house in the UK) I need to pay tax in Spain for the property we have in the UK?

Please let me know if someone is in similar situation and if this is case, that we need to pay tax for having property in UK.

Am new to this forum and would like to say hello to everyone. I am hoping to move to Almeria by Autumn after selling my house. I have been looking at the Mar Mediterraneano urbanisation in San Juan de los Terreros and intend to come over for a week in Spring to have a look at the area and see what is on offer. After the lockdown ceases!!!!!

Can anyone give me any information or advice on their experience of this urbanisation or area.

Hi, On visiting the Turre center today I was informed that there are no doctors available untill next week. So I assume we must not get ill till then ! Even the info desk was shut.

Hi All. I've been told that to fly back to the UK im required to have a PGR or lamp test for covid 19 up to 72 hours before my flight. Where can I get this test from. I know I need to pay, I can't find anywhere so far. I've called all the big pharmacies, some do the antigen test but I need the full diagnostic test. 

Does anyone know where I can get one.

Hi Sally and Billy from the UK (Plymouth and Manchester). We are looking to be inland and open to various areas in Almeria, such as La Alfoquia, Albox, Zurgena, Huércal-Overa, Arboleas, Mojacar, Turre, Vera Playa etc.

We hope to purchase in the next 12 months, we are looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house or villa with private pool non communal area possible Cucador area.

We have NIE and Spanish bank account having lived in Tenerife previously for 3 years. We have spent time in and around these areas and as an ex Royal Marine I love the mountains and lovely open views. Intend to use as a holiday home before retirement. We are both in our 50's. Not looking for work as I have military pensions. Looking for recommendations on the legal side and we already have dealings with Voss Homes and Almeria Homes. We both have British and Irish passports and if I am correct we can stay for a period of 90 days then leave for 1 day and stay for another 90 days as an EU passport holder in a 12 month period.

Any help with the pitfalls and admin points would be very helpful.
