Hi All

We are currently staying in Playa Serena for a month, and will need a pre departure PCR test before returning to the UK.

Where are the best test centres in the local area.

Due to personal reasons & reluctantly my partner & I are having to return to the UK to live.  We have residencia but have only been in Spain 13 months. Our property will be on the market, so we will be travelling between countries to sort things out. How long can we be out of Spain before giving up/losing our residencia, can we work in the UK once we leave Spain without tax implications? We're finding it all a bit confusing & cant seem to get any straight answers so any advise or links to my questions & anythingnelse regarding returning to the UK would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you 😉👍

My wife and i both have private pensions pots (SIPP's) in the UK and the plan is to become Spanish tax residents. They are not large by any means but certainly would not want to lose large chunks of them to tax.  We have spoken to 3 different financial advisers in Spain and received 3 different answers.  Answer 1. QROPS. ( i know for a fact this is the wrong answer as the funds are way too small).  Answer 2. Transfer to an international SIPP.  Answer 3. Leave the funds in the UK.   As i have said, so called professional advice has been sought.

Has anybody had a similar experience?

Morning all,

We are completing on a property in the Playa and I am trying to gauge what monthly electric costs might be.  I appreciate that electricity charges are significant in Spain but would be grateful if anyone can give a steer.

The property is a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment.  No AC at the moment.  Will be used primarily as a holiday home.

Any direction would be much appreciated.
