There is a practise whereby outlets wil sell vehicles ON BEHALF OF CLIENTS. In this case you have no warranty/ guarantee. Happened to friends of ours when clutch went just months after buying.

Buyer beware as always. The car trade is the same globally.

Afraid there is no definitive answer as to 'why' second hand vehicles are so expensive in Spain, they just are. But if it's a reliable dealership you want, I second Dario's comment - Harry Zarb, Gomez Ford, Huercal Overa. Well established local company with a reputation they value and wish to uphold.

Even though ours was a small 10y old 'cheapie' that had seen better days, 1 year on it still goes like a bomb & does all that's asked. The company have been outstanding in their after sales service and have dealt promptly with any problem or concern [so far only minor] - often without charge. That is why we travel all the way to Huercal Overa.
