Hi there. I've read about this great restaurant on TripAdvisor. Is it usually open all year round? Also I've seen places for sale on this complex does anyone know what it's like to live there full time..they look lovely. We were mainly looking to buy in palomares but also like villaricos as it's so quaint. I'm thinking it would be a lot quieter as when we've been on any day other than market day we didn't really see anyone. Is there many expats there...I know there are lots in palomares. Thanks

Thanks. Do you live in Villaricos?. We've stayed in Palomares a few times and been to Villaricos each time we've visited. The market day being such a contrast to the rest of the week. Palomares ticks alot of boxes and is a proper little Spanish  town with people living full time and shops but Villaricos is closer to walk to the beach for dog walking and still has a few watering holes from what I recall. Wonder tho if these open all year round.

Once travelling is on the menu again we can resume our research and book a trip that hopefully won't get cancelled Again! At least by the time we're ready all the Brexit stuff should be sorted too.

Oo whereabouts inland. I like the look of Turre as there is a horsey place there and I've been in contact with them as i plan on bringing at least one over. I'd love to live inland as I'm more a country girl and wouldnt mind a shortish drive to the coast and also  think we'd get more for our money inland. My other half wants to be walking distance to amenities/ bar and have pool access ( doesn't go out drinking much or swim much lol). Ha ha x

Hi Tuppence

Just to butt in 😊

Los Conteros is fabulous.

Turre has a lot of brits and watering holes, lovely place.  There was nothing there in our price range when we were buying unfortunately.

If the horse place you mention is Trex... Wonderful people and a great place.

Good luck

Hi

Yes it is Trex. They have been so helpful and I really get a good feeling about them. Hopefully soon we can book a trip over and have a look around Turre.

Thanks for your input. Kindest regards Carole

Hi

The only downside is Los Conteros seems to get more than it's fair share of flies!

Hi, we’re in Partaloa. There are a couple of places with horses, riding lessons and walks etc. Walking distance to the bar, nearest town is 5 minutes by car.
