Information about staying in Villaricos

I am interested in renting in Villaricos. Anybody have any information about the town. Good/bad indifferent. There is a big factory just outside the town. Does this cause any disruption or is it just far enough away to be OK.
They have a great Sunday Market there and it does seem like a very nice quite coastal town. Just wondering, has anybody any opinions on this town area?
