there isn't, that I know of, but you might make inquiries with the PAWS/Patas Animal Shelter charity, at 678 49 02 17 to see if they have any suggestions.

The APA-Nueva Vida Charity is very active, but they're further away in Huercal Overa and they very likely only speak Spanish. You might, however, message them through their Facebook page using Google translate and see what they have to say.

you might also stop in at a local vet in your area and see if they have suggestions, they would usually welcome actions to aid the general health and well being of animals in their area.

I was on holiday last week and I saw 2 feral kittens living in a car park outside a bar in Villaricos. They were very thin and obviously very hungry with no one to care for them.
The bar was at the end of the promenade/walk way. There is a small marina at either end of the promenade. The marina where the kittens are was at the opposite end from a diving centre. Looking on google maps I would says that the bar is called restaurante Chiringuito La Balsica.  I tweeted PAWS the day before yesterday and a group called dogcatrescue.almeria2uk but not had a response from either.

Hello Dawn I did try to make contact with the cat protection services via the info given but didn’t get a reply.  I just fed the cats while I was there and saw that quite a few others including the fishermen at the harbour were also doing this.  With regard to those cats that looked as though they needed veterinary attention it seems the services are just overwhelmed sadly.  

Thanks for replying Noreen. I got a reply from the dogcatrescue people but this is not their area and they don't have any spare capacity. No reply from PAWS so maybe they have closed down. Hopefully the kittens will be lucky and some kind people like you will feed them.
