Where can we get a PCR Test and Paperwork to leave to go through France back to England in this area?

Did France not close its borders to all no EU travelers yesterday?

assume you are travelling to your main residence in UK not sure you will be able to stop on route at the moment though giving the new lockdown rules in France.  try the Farmacai in Vera as in the previous posting for the test and maybe ask at the local police station ref any documents necessary.  but proof of travel ticket, passports and any proof of home address would be a starter.  Good luck with the journey and hope it is successful

we are returning to England for my husband to have an operation. we are driving back before we would have got a test in France but as you say we need one to drive through the border.  So we need one if possible in this area so we can drive back.  Due to the circumstances once we have the PCR Certificate we should be o.k.  I have all paperwork required but no PCR Test.  Have tried all Pharmacies in Vera, along with Laboratories, Town Hall

You do need a PCR Test if you are driving through France and the Euro Tunnel Allegan Test only is no good.  Still looking where to have this around here if anyone knows.

Hi

Just pick a city near to the border where you want to enter France for a stopover, let's say, Irun or Zaragoza or Figueras to name a few.  Next step, type your chosen stopover on Google Search eg: Zaragoza cita PCR Covid 19.  It should come up with places where you can get this done and with any luck you can book the appointment (cita previa) online or alternatively phone up.  Usually the larger Mapfre centres do them as well as private clinics.

Thank you very much if you do this then you wait in a Hotel for 24 hrs to get results, hoping that they are negative.  Picking up other people's germs. So for us this does not work.  Thank you again Yorkshire Barbara

I think you have as much chance of catching it in a clean hotel than a petrol station or a public loo.  However it is your decision entirely.

Buen viaje!
