Hi all I have tried to send an email to the Ayuntamiento at Vera to try and find out if there's any possibility of them spraying to counteract the mosquito population. Friends are staying and have been very badly bitten. I know it probably will be too late to help them but wanted to raise the issue. Trouble is I am having difficulty identifying which dept to speak to.

The website is not the most user friendly any suggestions would be helpful thanks Karen

Go to this link https://www.vera.es/index.php?page=buzon_sugerencias and select I would say "Mantenimiento" from the Drop Down that says "Departamento de destino de tu consulta"

Wow! Already! None here ( Turre )

Skin so Soft ( Avon ) is the go to spray to prevent and if you do get bitten Anthisan ( not sure where you can get that here though ) soothes the pain and itch

I've also sent a message to the town hall re the mossies on VP. Never seen them so bad. Went out on Friday night and everyone in the restaurant was being bombed by them it was awful. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the drainage outlet that now runs by the tennis courts and then down to the sea.

We’re in the process of moving to Puerto Rey - they are thick as anything there as well. Possibly the recent late rains have caused a mozzie explosion.

on Friday night in Vera, on the Moros y Cristianos parade, we were walking through clouds of the wee bitey buggers … it’s not restricted to just Playa
