I think ours cost around 70 euros for a 50litre one, 80 litres isnt much more. Try Smith Plumbing in Turre if you need a good workman. They did mine. Good luck

Hi Lou.

Electric water heating is cheap to install and expensive to run. A gas heater is much more expensive to buy and much cheaper to run!

Hi, whereabouts is your water heater ? Inside or out ?

We recently bought one from the consignment shop on the "Lopez" poligono in Antas.

They have a selection of boilers, we paid I think €120 euros for an 80 litre one but couldve got a 100 litre smart boiler for €100 !!

Partner whose villa it is made the decision,

Be aware that there could be quite a bit of water still in the boiler if your doing the job yourself.

Fitting is just usually two hooks on a bracket if your lucky and can find the same make and model, new hoses some thread tape and thats it basically.

Hi Lou,

If you are looking for gas we have an unused one fitted externally at our San Juan apartment. These were fitted in expectation that gas would be installed but this never happened.

Don't know how much effort involved in checking and installing but if you can remove it you are welcome to have it free as we will dump it in due course.

Hi

Just read your comment about the €100 smart boiler, was that from Lopez in Antas?

Thank you for the info.  It is an inside boiler ...basically just had a survey on an apartment we are buying and it says we need a new one so needed to know what sort of price we would be looking at.
