Can anyone tell me please what Tv programs and/or Tv channels (U.K.) that are available on firestick without paying a subscription.

Thank you. ❤️

Hi Doris

The Firestick is, effectively, a very small computer when you plug it into your tv it’s already setup so you can log into your Amazon account and then view all Amazon pages as if you were using a PC or tablet. If you have an Amazon Prime subscription you would also be able to view Prime Video via the Firestick. Post Brexit if you have a UK Prime account you will not be able to view Prime video here in Spain (unless you use a VPN - see below).  If you have a Spanish Prime account you will be able to view all the videos available on Amazon.es.

To view other TV\Movie content you will have to download apps to your Firestick. There are some free apps that allow you to view UK channels, they tend to come and go and not be very reliable, best way to find them is via a Google search.

If you want to watch BBC iPlayer content or that from ITV, C4 and C5 you will need to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy server app. What these do is make your computer look like it’s in the UK (or another country) thus fooling the I Player or other content server into thinking you are in the UK. There are many of these services available to download as apps some are free, the more reliable ones charge a monthly or annual fee. There’s a continual battle between content providers and VPN providers so you can expect that on occasions you will be blocked from viewing even with your VPN activated.

You are better off with a subscription- I have a choice of apps to use and every channel going + catch up tv/ TV series and Movies ( I pay £120 a year for 2 simultaneous connections available in SD/HD and FHD - I also get a vpn from same crowd for about £25 a year so I can get BBC I player and ITV hub etc- you need the 4K firestick and better still the Fire TV cube

We live near Alicante but have an apartment on the Playa. At home we have internet for Netflix and satellite dish for Uk tv. For the apartment we didn’t want a dish nor pay a subscription charge so use a firestick with Avanza fibre optic.

We can get every channel possible through different apps including the latest movies , tv shows and all sport channels you can think off as well as Uk tv. Sometimes it’s a bit hit and miss but for 40 euros as a one off cost it cannot be beaten.

You must have good internet though.
