Information regarding Pueblo Salinas
Hi everybody, long time lurker, first time poster here.
I'm not an expat, I'm spanish (apologies in advance for any grammar mistake or misspelling...) though your forum seems to be one of the most active sources of information regarding Vera and surroundings.
My wife and I are planning to buy an appartment in Vera to spend some time there and as our future retirement home and we've been offered one property in the Fase 2 of Pueblo Salinas. The real estate agent told us about some severe issues with the foundations in that fase and asserted that the comunidad de propietarios (sorry, as with "fase" I don't know the proper equivalent in english) have already been granted 1M euros to solve them and that the repair works are to start in a very short time frame. Despite the property we've visited is not in any of the seriously affected buildings (we saw some really scary cracks on other buildings...) we're sort of worried about all that stuff.
Do any of you guys happen to live in Pueblo Salinas (either Fase 1 or 2) and can give us first hand and unbiased feedback about it? Are the rest of urbanisations in that area (Thalassa, Lomas del Mar 5, Veranda....) also affected? To my understanding if the problem is actually related to the softness of the ground as the real estate agent told us, all the buildings of that area are susceptible to the same issues.
Any information would be highly appreciated.
Cheers!!!!
