Make sure the one you buy has a sim card link to the emergency services. I got mine off Amazon. 35 euros.

No, just a single amber light that you place on your roof if you break down.  They are DGT connected so alert DGT to your breakfown

No. They are to keep you safe in the car. You just switch it on and put it on your roof. The light can be seen 1km away and they communicate with a control centre who dispatch assistance.

That sounds a really good idea . I wonder if the uk will bring them in . Do visitors who drive to Spain have to have them . Two of my daughters are driving down in the spring
