Does anyone know if it’s likely we will be able to travel outside of Almeria province after 9th April? We’re trying to plan a visit to some friends in Malaga province but won’t be doing it until the provincial lockdown finishes. Any announcements made that I may have missed?

April 9th is when they are reviewing it - it will all depend on how well the measures implemented are observed over Semana Santa.  Considering these measures are aimed at keeping apart people who don’t live at the same address, this would serve to try and keep separate Spanish families apart ... over Semana Santa? Good luck with that!!

Considering people ARE going to ignore the law, or at very least bend the rules to their fullest extent, it’s going to depend on how much the numbers go up after Semana Santa.

It’s POSSIBLE they’ll open the provincial borders on April 9th - it’s also possible I’ll win the State Lotto ... but I’d not be counting on it

We live on a golf course where people have appeared coming to their holiday home...possibly from Madrid. Doesn’t help does it?

VdE? Yep, that’s where I live as well. Los Almendros.

And I’m seeing French registered cars appearing and I’m hearing people getting together and partying at night.  Must be damn big houses for them all to be living there ....

Yep! Boils my blood it does, when the rest of us are sticking to the rules. I would actually like to see family and friends at some point, but it seems some are already doing it!

The rule of "people who do not live together may not see each other" was always going to fail - you CANNOT keep Spanish families apart, especially at times like this, because the culture is very much family-orientated.  They may have had better luck trying to restrict number of people who don't live together - but a blanket ban? over Semana Santa?  doomed to fail, unfortunately.

And our car park continues to fill, and there are more evening gatherings.  It's pointless trying to implement a law like this because the government doesn't have the resources to properly enforce it, and I'm not certain Guardia Civil REALLY have the will to enforce it - despite that absolutely huge GC / Policia Local presence inside the main gates last week.
